OverviewAre you looking for an Early Education Child Care teacher role in a welcoming and exciting intergenerational center?TowerLight Senior Living is located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, we are near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 7 and 100. Our community offers 115 units of breathtakingly appointed Independent Living Apartments, innovative Assisted Living Apartments, state-of-the art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites (as well as an intergenerational day care). Our tenured team ensures a strong dedication to delivering high end comfort and the best senior care available for our residents.We are looking for a Child Care Teache r to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational program by caring for and teaching young children in their assigned age group. Early Education Assistants will teach, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.This position includes:

80 hours in two weeks

Monday- Friday, Days

Towerlight Child care is one of four intergenerational child care centers Ebenezer offers.Responsibilities/Job DescriptionImplementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum.Develop and implementing weekly lesson plansAssessing each child's development and administer Parent/Teacher conferences twice per yearMaintain a child friendly and orderly classroomImplementing effective guidance and support strategiesConnect with parents on child development issues, policies and other concerns related to their childrenReport any concerns to the director regarding staff or classroom issuesMaintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and familiesParticipates in program areas such as intergenerational activitiesSupervise heath, safety and overall wellbeing of the children at all timesMaintain certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHTQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school Diploma/GED - Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota Rule 9503.0032Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field1-2 years’ experience working with young childrenAbility to lift 40lbs.CPR and Pediatric First Aid certificationNeed help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!As part of Fairview Health Services, Ebenezer is driven to heal, discover and educate for longer, healthier and meaningful lives for seniors.
