-In-office position in Minnesota

Pay Range

-$18 - $23/hour (contingent on skills)

As a product assembler at Empress Effects, you’ll take part in the complete hands-on assembly of our effects pedals, building each unit from start to finish. This includes assembling, soldering, testing, debugging, and improving the quality and efficiency of our processes.

No soldering experience? No problem–we’ll teach you.

Responsibilities / Duties

-Assemble effects pedals according to detailed instructions and quality standards.

-Solder electronic components onto circuit boards.

-Test and troubleshoot completed products to ensure functionality and performance.

-Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

-Assist other departments as required.

Required Skills / Qualifications

-Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

-Ability to stand for long periods during a shift.

-Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful and proactive approach.

-Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

-Previous soldering or electronic assembly experience (not required—training provided).

-Basic knowledge of electronics or an interest in music and audio equipment is a strong asset.

The ideal candidate has excellent manual dexterity, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to producing top-quality products. As part of a small, versatile team, you will occasionally assist other departments, such as shipping, reflecting our collaborative culture where everyone contributes to shared goals.
