Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Ad-hoc projects as necessary Requirements - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
3+ years of overall general accounting experience
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
ERP system experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
This position requires financial reporting systems proficiency
Account reconciliation experience
General ledger experience required
Experience with budget forecasting
Financial reporting experience
Strong familiarity with GAAP Accounting
Proven knowledge of year end closings
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
