Operations Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist in the Motor Freight Forwarding industry, based in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role involves a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of office functions, with a particular emphasis on compliance, customer service, and documentation. Responsibilities: Manage operational procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain data and generate reports Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Maintain and update documentation related to operational processes Collaborate with the team to identify areas of improvement in operational processes Handle administrative tasks related to operations management Utilize CRM and IBM AS/400 Management System for various operations-related tasks Support the management team in decision-making related to operations Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team cooperation. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Motor Freight Forwarding industry, ideally in an Operations Specialist role or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Demonstrated experience in compliance and relevant industry regulations Excellent customer service skills, with an emphasis on relationship building and maintaining Experience in documentation and managing office functions Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team.
