The position directs fiscal and human resources to implement workforce education, continuing education, and grant development. This position will be responsible for contract training and open enrollment activities as well as grant-funded projects in accordance with Minnesota State policies and procedures. This position also assists in developing and strengthening business and community partnerships to explore and develop opportunities to expand programming.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent education and work experience in higher/adult education, public administration, grant administration, workforce development, executive level manufacturing management, or related experience.

Three years of supervisory experience.

Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, oversee the cost, time, and scope of projects, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results.

Computer software skills, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, charting, and other business software applications sufficient to collect, query and analyze data and prepare charts, reports, and presentations.

Strong written communication skills sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials such as memos, procedures, reports, presentations, etc., using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction and clearly explaining ideas and procedures to varied audiences.

Strong verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate ideas and procedures to staff and managers and present recommendations and reports to senior managers.

The ability to represent the college in a professional manner at all levels of business and government.

Experience in budget preparation and management.

Ability to travel to multiple locations – including overnight.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range: $70,178 - $101,602Other RequirementsIn accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.A job offer may be contingent upon successfully passing a background check.
