Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative, based in Shakopee, Minnesota. Operating within the construction industry, this role involves handling customer order processing and data entry operations.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer orders Maintain precise records of customer credit Handle customer inquiries professionally, whether face-to-face, through phone or via email Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed Deliver the highest level of customer service, exceeding customer expectations Maintain a proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks Collaborate effectively with internal staff at all levels Exhibit strong communication skills and attention to detail Utilize basic office skills to enhance service delivery Be comfortable interacting with customers at all levels. Requirements Proficiency in basic office skills including typing, filing, and phone etiquette. Experience in a customer service role, ideally within a similar industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively handle customer inquiries. Ability to multitask, managing multiple customer queries and tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions for customer issues. Fluency in using basic computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to work in a team, contributing to a positive work environment. Exceptional organizational skills for managing customer information and follow-ups. Patience and empathy to understand and address customer needs and complaints. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
