Senior Endowment Accountant - REMOTE
Our client, a private college located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Endowment Accountant to join their team! This role will report to the Director of Accounting and handle the endowment accounting to support their year-end close. This position will be responsible for the accounting workflow for gift and scholarship accounting. This is a fully remote position but must be able to work EST hours.
Responsibilities:
Reconciliations - pledge receivable account, balance sheet account, advancement clearing account, gift net asset roll forward for the FY24 in excel
Create new temporary and endowed gifts and new scholarship codes
Reconcile endowed contributions
Create and book journal entries
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or related field
6+ years of experience preferred
Prior Workday general ledger experience & endowment accounting experience is required
