C.H Robinson is seeking a talented Security Operations Analyst to join our Cyber Security team. In this role, you will participate in the attack surface reduction of global computing assets through the identification, prioritization, and remediation of system, network, and application vulnerabilities. You will leverage your experience to support daily, weekly, and monthly vulnerability remediation scheduling and support. As a Security Operations Analyst you will conduct analysis of the data generated by vulnerability management solutions and work with teams to assist in developing solutions to remediate identified vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in a risk prioritized, effective, and efficient fashion.C.H. Robinson.This position may be located in Eden Prairie/Minneapolis, Seattle, Kansas City, or Chicago.ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

Monitor, investigate, and triage suspicious or malicious activity and alerts

Assist in configuring Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and security operations procedures

Execute incident response activities including investigation, triage, escalation, remediation, and post-incident reporting

Conduct malware analysis, provide threat and vulnerability analysis, and research ongoing threat campaigns

Continuously review SIEM dashboards, system, application logs, and custom monitoring tools

Run reports to provide necessary insights and demonstrate assessment coverage and remediation effectiveness, including vulnerability, configuration, and coverage metrics

Create, maintain, and present weekly and monthly metrics, to various audiences

Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email while promptly addressing and resolving assigned tickets and alerts to ensure timely incident resolution

Promote cyber-security education and best practices

Assist in developing cybersecurity communications and ensuring compliance with audit requirements

Create and modify Security Operations Center (SOC) processes/procedures while providing guidance to other SOC analysts

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with enterprise information technology

1+ year of Security Operations experience

Understanding of fundamental Cyber Security concepts (OWASP top 10, Security controls, network security, Identity and Access Management, for example)

Strong understanding of fundamental Information Technology concepts (application architectures, networking layers, for example)

Ability to perform technical analysis of software, systems, hardware, and network environments

Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience and high school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of incident management, case management and investigation techniques

Proficient in working with security information event management (SIEM) systems, intrusion prevention (IDS/IPS), vulnerability management, endpoint protection, malware analysis, and other system monitoring tools

Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

Experience supporting and leading security investigations

Experience establishing and utilizing measurements, processes, and metrics to manage support activities

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Ability to provide rotational on-call coverage and willingness to support a flexible work schedule

Compensation Range$59,300.00 - $123,200.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
