You'll use Xcode to create, enhance, and publish iOS apps to the Apple App Store using Swift.
You'll partner with other iOS engineering teams across CVS and Aetna.
You'll advocate for engineering best practices, including test coverage, clean code, security, and accessibility.
You'll actively participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback to your fellow engineers to make them better and to improve the quality of the software we deliver.
You'll maintain and support shared code by triaging issues and fixing bugs.
You'll write and maintain unit and UI tests to verify your work is accurate.
You'll document your code using inline comments and author README.md files.
You'll approach all engineering work with a security lens and actively look for security vulnerabilities.
You'll approach all engineering work with a performance lens and actively look for performance bottlenecks.
You'll utilize GitHub Enterprise to create branches, open pull requests, and merge code using a trunk-based workflow.
You'll utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to document and present your work.
You'll operate in an Agile environment, including writing user stories with acceptance criteria.
You'll advocate for simplicity in user experiences in accordance with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of overall software engineering experience.
3+ years of Swift development for iOS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SwiftUI.
Experience working on a platform team, delivering solutions to your fellow engineers.
Experience building libraries with documentation as first-class citizens.
Experience working on a project using mature CI/CD practices.
Awareness of new and emerging technologies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$64,890.00 - $154,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
