Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing numerous HR functions, including but not limited to, payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Take charge of payroll processes including reviewing time cards, converting employees from part-time to permanent, and ensuring correct deductions. Handle benefits administration tasks such as enrolling new employees, updating life events, and answering queries about leaves. Manage and audit benefits, keeping a keen eye on inconsistencies and resolving them. Be responsible for data input, updates, and changes in the HRIS system. Generate daily, monthly, and compliance reports as required. Oversee the open enrollment process, ensuring smooth operation and accurate record-keeping. Conduct audits on the HRIS system to identify and rectify any issues. Learn and understand the functioning of the HRIS system, with the aim to improve and streamline it. Understand HR processes and workflow and implement them effectively. Handle the hiring process within the HRIS system. Requirements Extensive experience using ADP Workforce Now is required Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary Demonstrable knowledge of Benefit Functions is essential Exceptional Communication skills are vital Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within HR is needed Proven experience in Employee Relations is a must Familiarity with FMLA regulations is crucial Proficiency in Benefits Administration is required Experience in HR reporting is necessary Knowledge of Paylocity is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
