Fixed Asset Accountant

Description We are on the search for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The role involves handling processes related to fixed assets, reconciling accounts, and providing support for sales, use tax, and fleet management. This role is an exciting opportunity within the industry.Responsibilities Manage and record all fixed asset additions and disposals Prepare and post necessary journal entries Perform regular reconciliations of accounts Prepare audit workpapers and assist in internal and external audits Serve as backup support for sales and use tax processes Assist in fleet management operations Use accounting software systems and ERP to manage accounting functions Implement accrual accounting methods and budget processes Utilize Excel for data management, including use of Vlookups and pivot tables Perform other assigned duties as necessary. Requirements A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Fixed Asset Accountant position or similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. Experience in creating and optimizing Banner Ads for digital platforms. Familiarity with BlackLine software for finance controls and automation. Proficiency in utilizing Crystal Reports for business reporting and analysis. Comprehensive understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Demonstrated ability to perform all necessary Accounting Functions with a high level of precision. Experience with Accrual Accounting methods, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Familiarity with Auditing processes and procedures. Experience in managing Budget Processes, with a focus on efficiency and financial control. Understanding of Capitalization principles and procedures in accounting.
