Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota (this position can offer remote flexibility). The successful candidate will be joining a team that operates in the telecom provider industry. This role involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries related to credit.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain correct and up-to-date customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries regarding credit in a timely manner Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect overdue payments Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, and Great Plains (GPAC) to manage customer accounts Operate IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel for data entry and account management tasks Perform billing functions as necessary to maintain accurate account records Follow established collection processes to ensure maximum efficiency Act as a collector for delinquent accounts, using excellent customer service skills to maintain positive customer relations Manage customer credit accounts, identifying any potential issues or irregularities.Please only apply if you have between 1-2 years of collections experience.
