Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Your responsibilities
Provide support during internal and external audits
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Execute additional tasks as needed
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
General familiarity with 3 Way Matching
Sage Intacct experience preferred
Excel Formulas experience
Well-founded grasp of Coding Invoices
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
