Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Printing/Publishing industry, located in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial records, and requires a diverse range of accounting skills. You will be vital in executing tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and resolving financial discrepancies. Responsibilities: Efficiently process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Execute bank reconciliations promptly and accurately Maintain an organized and updated general ledger Prepare precise journal entries as part of the accounting routine Contribute to the month end close process to ensure timely reporting Utilize AS400 system for various accounting tasks Apply Microsoft Excel skills to perform data analysis and reporting Oversee payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed. Requirements Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and updating the General Ledger Experience in creating and posting Journal Entries Capability to handle Month End Close procedures efficiently Familiarity with AS400 accounting software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in the Printing/Publishing industry preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
