Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment, including but not limited to conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, and freezers. This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action by completing or assigning the repairs needed to ensure that systems are operational and functioning safely and efficiently.Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, mixers, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, freezers, compressors, and building equipment.
Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and advise the supervisor if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Ability to perform under limited supervision.
Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Install, adjust, and repair packaging equipment to obtain the best performance according to specifications.
Maintain and repair equipment during both production and non-production periods.
Troubleshoot and analyze problems with machines and systems.

2 years of experience working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs on industrial food manufacturing equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented
Must be at least 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
