Description As an Appointment Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination and management of appointments for our client's logistics operations. You will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, including carriers, customers, and internal teams, to optimize scheduling processes, maintain accurate records, and uphold our client's commitment to timely deliveries. Your exceptional organizational skills and proactive communication will contribute to the smooth functioning of our client's supply chain operations.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to schedule and confirm appointments for transportation and deliveries.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment records in our scheduling system, ensuring information is accessible and reliable.

Monitor appointment schedules to identify and resolve potential conflicts or delays, and communicate adjustments promptly.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring timely responses.

Assist in optimizing appointment scheduling processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to align appointment schedules with inventory management and loading/unloading activities.

Generate and analyze reports related to appointment scheduling performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to appointment scheduling and logistics operations.

Requirements

Requirements:

2+ years of customer service experience

Experience working with phones and Windows PC

Strong attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills
