Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the Construction/Contractor industry located in Roseville, Minnesota. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for handling customer billing, managing accounts, and assisting with other related accounting tasks in line with your skills and expertise.Responsibilities: Prepare and process monthly digital customer pre-billing and billing invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process. Handle the processing of third-party purchase orders for job sites. Set up and manage new job accounts, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP). Extract and analyze data relevant to job performance such as life of job and capping information. Directly cooperate with the accounting department to ensure smooth transition and full billing capability. Assist in various responsibilities such as physical count, rental rate pricing project, yearly inventory in collaboration with the Business Analyst. Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to streamline and improve accounting functions. Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and accounts.
