New College Grad, System Integration Test Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position is on a team that verifies the compatibility of Western Digital storage drives in enterprise customer system environments.System integration test engineers work closely with development engineering and customer technical support to ensure the quality of the product's design and to verify that the product works flawlessly in the customer's systems.System integration test engineers are responsible for configuring customer systems for test, then monitoring and analyzing performance data, drive logs, system logs, bus signals, etc. to determine test status. Problems are then isolated, analyzed, and documented as they occur.The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts and automation.Responsibilities also include the creation of test schedules, writing reports, and communicating written and verbal status.This is a full-time, permanent position for immediate start at Western Digital's Rochester, MN site.
