Energy Economics is hiring meter repair technicians. These technicians will assist in the repair and calibration of gas meters for the natural gas industry. We offer a 4-day / 10-hour and 5-day / 8-hour shifts available both with opportunities for overtime. All training is provided at full wages. The work consists of repairing, testing, and calibrating natural gas meters.
Duties:
Repair, test, and calibrate diaphragm meters, or work in a supporting capacity.
Clean exterior of meter, read indexes, and disassemble and reassemble various brands of meters in accordance with customer specifications.
Log work performed on computer.
Work well in a team environment to continuously improve the organization.
Ability to work independently.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical ability to work on feet for long periods of time and the ability to lift and manipulate large meters.
Must be committed to quality and possess basic understanding of mechanics, and computer operation.
Experience with hand tools (hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, pneumatic tools, etc.).
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with management.

Salary: From Starting wages range from $16.00 to $18.00.

Schedule:
10 hour shift Monday through Thursday 6:30AM - 5:00PM.
8 hour shift Monday through Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM or 7:00AM - 3:30PM.
