(NON CDL) Proksch Transit is a family run United States Postal Service (USPS) contractor moving mail between USPS distribution centers and local post offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin. All of our routes are local, home-at-night routes. Routes in Wisconsin are split shift and deliver to various towns including Millston, Norwalk, Seneca, Taylor, Arcadia, Alma, Ft. McCoy, and Tomah. We are currently hiring for the following Substitute & Full Time Positions Rochester MN. Full Time Rochester, MN Part Time- Rochester, MN Substitute and On-Call Route Drivers Schedule:–Monday thru Saturday, split shift schedule, approximately 34 hours per week.–Home nightly.–Morning shift starts in Rochester around 4:30 a.m. and ends in Mabel at 7:40 a.m.– Afternoon shift starts in Mabel around2 p.m. and ends in Rochester by 5 p.m.– For rotating Route Driver Position, the layover towns include Winona, Rose Creek, Hokah, Rushford, Mabel, and Ostrander.– Four Sundays during peak season (Nov. 1 – Jan. 3).– Early advance also available, Monday’s only, 2-5 a.m., 3 hours per week.– Relay car in layover town available for use during layover.Compensation:– Competitive pay starting at $26.28/hour ($24.58 + 1.70 benefit), approximately $45,000-$54,000 annually.– Monday early morning advance run, $3,670 annually. – Benefits include indemnity insurance, 401(k) retirement, paid holidays, paid vacation after one year of employment – Bonuses include daily shuttle car fuel stipend ($10/day), sign-on bonus after 90 days of satisfactory employment, and referral bonuses. Substitute & On Call Rochester, MN Route Drivers –Routes depart from the Rochester, MN main postal distribution facility and delivers to the Winona, Rose Creek, Ostrander, Hokah, Mabel and Rushford, MN area Post Offices.–Split shift schedule.Routes start in Rochester around 4:30 am and end in various layover towns around 7:40 am, then start again around noon or 2 pm ending in Rochester around 5 pm.–Home nightly.– Early advance also available, Monday’s only 2-5 a.m. and 12-4 a.m.–Monday through Saturday work week.Days and hours vary.Substitute drivers cover time off and days off for the regular route drivers.– Competitive pay starting at $23-25/hour, increasing with experience and employee longevity. Job Requirements for all drivers:–Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL or non-CDL)–Ability to pass a DOT medical card physical and drug test–Ability to pass a federal background check for access to US Mail and haveAuthorization to work in the US–Ability to lift 75 lbs (occasionally)–Driver will operate Proksch Transit owned equipment- box trucks.–Driver must maintain schedule and arrive on time daily.–Driver must inspect the truck before, during, and after the trips.Notify company mechanic of any problems.–Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles.
