Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Plymouth, Minnesota. This role is in the telecom industry where you will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions and financial reports. Responsibilities: Pulling financial data and generating reports for various departments. Preparing for monthly meetings and presentations. Assisting with audit preparations. Creating financial statements for review. Collaborating with the accounting coordinator on various tasks. Handling banking related tasks and credit card transactions. Preparing accounts receivable/accounts payable reports. Assisting with annual budget items. Participating in the month-end closing process. Utilizing skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP in daily tasks. Requirements Proven experience in a Sr. Accountant role or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP Expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger and Journal Entries Ability to handle Month End Close activities Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
