Allina Health Restorative Suites, a state-of-the-art transitional and restorative care campus in Plymouth, MN, is hiring an experienced Human Resource Generalistto join our team. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of HR at our campus that includes processing payroll, candidate interaction, hiring, onboarding, and implementing HR policies. In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $2,000 Bonus!This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. Pending candidate interest, position can be scheduled 32-40 hours per week.Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pmHuman Resources Generalistresponsibilities:
Collaborate with department managers to interview as needed and send out job offers.
Onboarding processes for new hires including background checks, references, license verifications and communication with new hires.
Collaborate with site managers and home office HR on employee relations issues and performance management
Schedule and Collaborate with Cassia Home Office for new hire orientation.
Answer employee questions regarding HR, benefits, payroll and leave of absence.
Process new hire and termination paperwork.
Ensure employees are aware of and understand their Benefits and what is needed for enrollment.
Work with staff and managers to administer HR policies (i.e. leave of absence, workers compensation, OSHA, pay policies) and employee retention.
Manage unemployment claims.
Assist the HomeOffice during the annual open enrollment period for benefits.
Record,maintain, and updateemployee information in payroll/HRIS system and employee files.
Responsible for the day-to-day payroll related items and processes bi-weekly payroll.
Other duties as assigned.
Human ResourcesGeneralist skills and requirements:
1-2years of HR, benefits and payroll experience required.
Must haveknowledge of HR laws and processes.
Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG/Workforce Dimensions experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical abilities and computer skills.
Positive communication and customer service skills.
Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and demonstrate flexibility.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
