Description We are in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. The CFO will play a crucial role in overseeing a team of two, managing month-end close processes, and conducting management and bank reporting. Furthermore, the CFO will be involved in cash flow management and accounting for new projects. This role is on-site and offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee a team consisting of an Assistant Controller and a Payroll/AP/AR person. Handle month-end close processes, including entries for four entities involving international and intercompany transactions. Deliver management reporting and bank reporting. Manage cash flow efficiently. Assist with the accounting for new projects, specifically for product installations and project management. Exhibit skills in Month End Close, Cash Flow Management, Manufacturing, Financial Reporting, and Intercompany transactions. Maintain good relations with banks. Experience in the manufacturing industry is beneficial. Requirements Proven experience in a Chief Financial Officer role or similar senior-level financial managerial position Proficiency in cash flow management and banking relationships Demonstrable experience in financial reporting, including monthly and year-end reports Familiarity with financial software and spreadsheets Strong knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing industry Ability to handle and manage intercompany transactions and processes Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities Advanced analytical skills and a strategic mindset Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred Compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
