Job Description
As a Software / Firmware Developer, you will develop software that is used to govern theelectronic devices for the Bosch Automotive Service Solutionsdiagnostics group.
You can expect:
- To develop cutting edge software / firmware using C, C, C#, JAVA and Android scripting languages.
- To support hardware board bring-up, trouble-shooting, device drivers development and automated software builds.
- To lead the software architecture and design for exciting new products.
- To collaborate with multiple organizational departments in a dynamic manufacturing facility.
- To participate in Design review, code review and adhering to software development process and workflows.
- To provide system-wide Defect-fixing, problem-solving, and technical support.
- To follow-up Bosch procedures with regards to source code configuration management, requirement tracking, defect tracking and documentation tools.
- To seek out and participate in personal development opportunities.
- To grow your knowledge base of the latest technologies, industry standardization, and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical field required.
- 2+ years’ experience developing firmware or software in a product development atmosphere.
- Full stack development on Android and/or Linux.
- Android and Linux Board Support Package experience.
- Android and/or Linux device driver experience.
- Samsung Knox API experience a plus.
- Application development for embedded Linux is a plus.
- Proven capability in technical communications, often called upon toexpress complex technical concepts verbally and in writing.
- Ability to learn from other team members and adopt to best in class industry standards.
