Description Robert Half is looking for a talented Senior Accountant for a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

Other projects as necessary

Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests

Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

Knowledgeable of ERP systems

Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

A level of proficiency in financial reporting is preferential to this role

Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate

Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Accounting operations experience

Command of Bank Account Reconciliation

Journal entries experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

Foundational knowledge in NetSuite

Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired

Ability to work well with functional department managers

SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
