Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Oakdale, Minnesota, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk matches and batches code invoices, resolves A/P issues, processes expense reports, updates and reconciles sub-ledger to G/L, and processes checks.What you get to do every single day
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

High attention to detail
Command of NetSuite
Well-founded grasp of High-Volume Invoicing
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
