Description We are offering a remote role where the main duties involve Union Payroll Reporting and Payroll Processing in the service industry. This role is located in New Brighton, Minnesota, United States. Responsibilities: Oversee the reporting for numerous unions, ensuring each union's unique requirements are duly met with high attention to detail. Guarantee timely and precise reporting of payroll data to unions for all collectively bargained operating companies within the sector. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of collective bargaining agreements and other union-related requirements. Work in collaboration with union and fund representatives and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues. Develop and maintain reports and metrics related to union reporting. Assist with union-related audits and inquiries. Handle payroll processing for multiple entities currently operating on different systems. Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure seamless data flow across systems. Work with IT teams to resolve any technical issues related to data management and system integrations. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data administration processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to and navigate multiple ERP systems. Exhibit excellent independent working skills and communication abilities. Requirements Proven experience in a payroll management role within the service industry Extensive knowledge of payroll procedures and best practices Proficiency in payroll software, particularly for in-house payroll management Experience managing payroll for 101-500 employees Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and requirements Strong understanding of union contracts and ability to manage union payroll Experience preparing union reports related to payroll Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
