To contribute toward ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and positive working conditions for employees.JOB SUMMARY: To effectively direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Bakery Department while achieving sales and profit goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures customer satisfaction through timely and professional serviceResponsible for calculating department budget and keeping within parameters for sales, margin and labor expensesDevelops coordinated, aggressive and creative merchandising plansAccountable for department gross profit goalsSupervises and monitors department sanitation and safetyBuilds effective teams and ensures company policies and procedures are followedDirects and performs baking and production activitiesQUALIFICATIONS:Applicant should have excellent leadership and problem solving skills. Candidate must possess exceptional communication and mathematical skills. High school diploma or equivalent, two to four years in food service, and previous supervisory experience preferred.
