Description We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. As the Staff AccountantResponsibilities & Duties:

Manage daily corporate accounting activities, including light payroll duties, and contribute towards the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Handle accounts for multiple entities and provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management.

Utilize Yardi software for real estate and asset management, property management, and financial accounting.

Assist in internal and external audits, manage tax computations and returns, ensuring correct payment processing and compliance with payroll regulations.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is required. Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is expected. Previous experience in Auditing is desirable. Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll efficiently is required. Experience in Bookkeeping is a must.
