Overview
We are seeking a responsible, dedicated partner to join our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our growing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling, servicing and collecting our local textile recycling efforts. We are looking for a minimum of 15-20 hours a week commitment. Incumbent must be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Our schedule is flexible. This position allows the ideal candidate to work days, evenings and/or weekends. This could grow into a full-time position in the future.
Primary Duties
Drive company’s 16-foot box truck to various recycling pick-up centers in the West Metro
Service multiple recycling clothing bins by following established routes and schedules
Unload goods from company vehicle to storage trailer after every route
Schedule upcoming routes and communicate with location contacts as needed
Provide excellent customer service during recycling runs
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Skills
Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience as a delivery driver, courier, or other route driving a plus but not required
Strong customer service skills with attention to detail
Familiarity navigating local roads and routes
Ability to lift and move up to 40-pound bags as needed
Physically able to climb into and out of box truck multiple times per route
Experience with loading and unloading goods efficiently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience
Hours: 15 – 20 per week
