This is a flexible position that can be AM, PM, AM and PM, emergency, and / or extra-curricular. Morning route is approximately 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM and afternoon route is approximately 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Extra-curricular trips vary from local to interstate, a few hours to a full day, early morning to late evening, and can be for field trips or sports. The school year runs late August / early September through early / mid-June and summer school runs for four weeks shortly thereafter.

Paid training / certification in applicable fields
Interested candidates MUST:
possess or have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL license;
have a clean driving record and be approved by our insurance company;
be able pass an initial and yearly background check per Grantsburg Schools District's guidelines, state / Federal regulations, and company policies;
pass an initial and periodic drug and alcohol tests;
have or be willing to obtain CPR certification;
posses or be able to acquire a MedCard;
be reliable, dependable, and punctual; and
be able to communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively with students, parents, school staff, and co-workers

A school bus driver career is perfect for the part-time homemaker, as a supplement to current income, or as a transition into retirement. We are also a collision, mechanical, and towing company that would be open to a cross-trained individual looking to collaborate two jobs in one location. This position is open as of the start of the 2024/25 school year, with the possibility of a couple of trips or routes yet in the 2023/24 school year as available.
