Position Title: Warehouse Department:
Reports To: General Manager Employee: A
Position Summary: Oversees warehouse organization, ordering of stock materials, pulling & staging of orders, inventory control, setting up freight, tracking inbound freight, Inside contractor sales department
Essential Job Functions:
1. Daily Communication with General Manager in regards to all aspects of the position.
2. Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness & efficient use of warehouse space.
3. Responsible for the safe unloading / loading and checking in of all materials.
4. Communicate effectively with team members of all 3 companies when required.
5. Organize and account for all inventory in the warehouse.
6. Negotioate & set up all incoming & outbound freight.
7. Order warehouse supplies when needed,
8. Call on existing customers
1213 Must be able to communicate professionally and courteously with vendors and customers.
Inside-sales abilities required including quoting customer prices, etc,
Coordinate with sales department sample / display shipping, organization of displays
Maintain efficient use of dumpster / call in for dumpster exchange when applicable
Oversee open sales orders / open purchase orders & communicate with sales department
on status of those open order(s)
14. All other duties required
Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE 2 years in general warehouse management
REQUIRED SKILLS Excellent Customer skills. Must be able to multi-task.
Problem – Solving skills required.Flooring knowledge
PREFERRED SKILLS Warehouse management experience, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Flooring Sales or Installation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, bend, lift and load for the entire shift. Minimum of 50lbs.
