The Role:
As a Residential Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new and existing homes across the twin cities. You will work closely with our team and other construction professionals to ensure that all work completed is up to code and meets the high standards our clients expect.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential buildings.
Read and interpret electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with the national and local electrical codes.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Manage wiring, fixtures, and conduit installation.
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate and complete projects efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
Requirements:
Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician license.
Proven experience as a residential electrician; minimum 3 years preferred.
In-depth understanding of safety protocols and legal regulations in Minnesota.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating power tools.
