JOB DESCRIPTION
Crown Exteriors Inc., a progressive and fast-growing company in the storm restoration industry, is
seeking a full-time residential Roofing Apprentice. We are a team committed to excellence and

The Roofing Apprentice is an integral member of our roofing team, contributing to the successful
completion of roofing projects through the application of good roofing skills, problem-solving
abilities, and teamwork. This position requires a solid foundation of roofing knowledge, including a
basic understanding of all aspects of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong
communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team
members and supervisors.
Job Responsibilities:
● Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, including
shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofs, under the guidance of experienced roofers.
● Demonstrate quality roofing skills, such as measuring, cutting, and installing roofing
materials, while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
● Apply problem-solving abilities to address challenges and adapt to changing project
requirements, seeking guidance from supervisors and experienced team members when
needed.
● Work collaboratively with other Apprentices and journey-level roofers to ensure projects
are completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of clients.
● Acquire and apply basic knowledge of all aspects of roofing systems, including roofing
materials, structures, ventilation, flashing, sealants, gutters, and accessories.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper care and storage of tools and
equipment, to promote a safe and productive work environment.
● Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates on project
progress, identify potential issues, and seek guidance or clarification as necessary.
● Demonstrate a commitment to learning and professional development by actively
participating in training opportunities and seeking feedback from supervisors to improve
skills and performance.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not required.
● Must be able to provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States (Required).
● Must successfully complete and pass a background check.
● Good roofing skills, including the ability to measure, cut, and install roofing materials
accurately and safely.
● Basic knowledge of roofing systems, including materials, structures, ventilation, flashing,
sealants, gutters, and accessories.
● Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced
construction environment.
● Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others
and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced team members.
● Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work at heights in various
weather conditions.
● Willingness to learn, take direction, and actively contribute to the success of the roofing
team.
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
By fulfilling these responsibilities and possessing the necessary qualifications, the Roofing
Apprentice contributes to the successful completion of roofing projects while ensuring safety,
quality, and customer satisfaction.

Education/ Experience:
● Construction Experience: 2+ years (Preferred)
● Project supervision: 2 years (Preferred)
● High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
