Title: Paint Technician
Department: Paint Division
Reports to: Paint Manager/Lead Paint Tech
Job Summary
Work with other paint technicians daily on various painting projects. Keep job sites neat, clean and orderly daily. Performs warranty work and touch ups as needed. Reports progress daily to lead technician. Documents and tracks time spent on jobs. Perform preparation and application of paint, enamel, varnish and lacquer. Cleans and maintains equipment and company vehicles.

Perform preparation and application of paint, enamel, varnish and lacquer.
Work with other paint technicians daily on various painting projects.
Cleans and maintains company vehicle and all equipment associated with the paint division.
Minimum Requirement
Requires a minimum of 3 years’ painting experience, knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in trade. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to solve problems and adapt to a rapidly changing environment throughout the work shift.
Abilities Required
Requires the ability to sustain repetitive motion. Majority of work is completed while standing. Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance and to push and pull up to 100lbs with appropriate equipment. Requires substantial demands on these physical requirements throughout the work shift.
