Set your own flexible hours and join our residential property management team as a maintenance technician. Volume of work and number of hours vary from month to month and season to season. You choose your own availability.
We manage residential properties throughout the Twin Cities and are hiring technicians to attend to maintenance needs within our portfolio. For this position, we are looking for a candidate willing and able to service specifically the more northern and eastern suburbs, with possibility of some western suburbs. Areas would include but not be limited to: St. Paul, Shoreview, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Anoka and Ramsey, with possibility of a lesser concentration in the Oakdale, Woodbury, Plymouth and St. Louis Park areas. Qualifications and details include:
Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general "fix-it" skills are a must. Must have reliable vehicle to travel to and from work-sites throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. (Mileage reimbursement provided.)
Must have a Smart Phone for taking photos and keeping in contact with the office.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, maintain current vehicle insurance and possess own hand tools.
High school graduation or equivalent required, plus at least three (3) years general maintenance experience. Property management environment experience a plus.
Must be punctual, detail-oriented, efficient and an independent worker with good work habits.
Ability to interact with others using clear, professional and respectful language is essential.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 75 pounds without assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps and/or ladders. Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping is required.
Monday through Friday flexible hours. Would also consider an independent contractor agreement, if preferred.
