Job Title: Lead Carpenter

Hanson Remodeling is looking for a skilled and dedicated Lead Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading carpentry teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. You will work closely with subcontractors and clients to ensure that projects progress smoothly, stay on track, and meet deadlines and budget goals. This role will play a pivotal part in our vision to become the most sought-after mid to high-end design-build remodeling company, contributing directly to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and supervise carpentry crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.

Project Management: Maintain timelines and budgets, keeping projects on track and within financial constraints. Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality expectations.

Material Management: Oversee the accurate and timely ordering of materials, ensuring all necessary resources are available when needed to avoid delays.

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and your crew. Communicate effectively with all parties to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure the team adheres to project specifications and requirements.

Project Documentation: Complete all required project documentation promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate records for each project.

Safety: Maintain a high level of safety on job sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for the team.

Minimum Requirements:

5 years carpentry experience, 1 year managing projects

Knowledge of building regulations and codes

Proficient at mathematics and geometry

Proficient in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Clean driving record and reliable transportation

Provide own carpentry tools

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting daily

Precise eye-hand coordination

Compensation Package:

$32-38 hourly depending on experience
