LONSDALE AUTO WORKS & our family focused team has an amazing opportunity for that technician that wants to earn, learn, grow & succeed. We are looking for that special someone to head our shop as a full time Lead Auto Service Technician & we want you to join us!
As a professional technician we know you can't stand when others cut corners & hack stuff. We don't like that either because we as an industry are better than that. As a professional technician you want to be a craftsman & not be treated like a robot that is just supposed to turn hours. You want your weekends to spend time with family & friends, attend your kid's school day programs, take vacations that are true get-aways & most importantly, be respected by your supervisors & your peers. You want an work environment where your co-workers are there to support you & not compete with you.
Our team is dedicated to delivering the best service experience to our clients everyday & that doesn't mean discounting & giving away jobs, but rather educating them as to why properly servicing their vehicle leaves them money ahead. We must be doing something right because we've won the Best Local Repair Shop award for 3 years in a row & receive national recognition for the past 14 YEARS IN A ROW! Our clean & modern, professional multi-lift facility (2 per tech) is spacious (yes we can fit for toolbox), well lit (all LED overhead lighting), and is climate controlled (YES WE HAVE AC!). The whole team is constantly learning & improving via our all expenses paid training program that includes local training opportunities as well as annual trips to Vision in Kansas City & ASTE in Raleigh, NC.
Do you have the training & professional shop experience, able to use a scan tool, multi-meter & lab scope to diagnose a communication error, move on to a timing chain & cam-phaser replacement followed up by a brake service? Can you explain how a system works or demonstrate a skill to another technician? Are you that "go-to guy" in your shop but not credited or compensated for your time & skills. That's who we are looking for. We do it all so we need someone that can do it all. Want to take your career to a higher level?
We are a full service domestic & Asian (with a handful of Euro) service center in a great community with a strong clientele that loves our great customer service. We need someone that isn't afraid of hard work but also isn't afraid to have fun. Our facility is well lit (all LED overhead lighting), spacious (yes we can fit for toolbox) is climate controlled (YES WE HAVE AC!). We run our paperless operation with every technician using company supplied technology to utilize a state of the art shop management & digital inspection system as well as multiple service information systems.
We are here Monday through Friday, with no weekends, nights or holidays. Our compensation package includes paid PTO / vacation, 401k, insurance benefits program, paid uniforms, paid training & certifications, tool / boot allowance, as well as other perks like parts discounts, use of shop for personal / immediate family vehicles, team lunches / dinners & get togethers. Although the biggest perk is getting to be part of a low turn over, award winning team that wants the best for everyone.
