We are seeking a Journeyman / Foreman Plumber / Service Plumber to work with our team on a mix of project types. We work on a variety of new construction, remodel work, condo tenant finish work and some light commercial. We are fortunate to have great customers with clean safe worksites. Ability to work on various hot water heating systems as well. Flexibility on experience level. We want you to grow with Select Mechanical.
The position duties
· Waste & Vent Piping (Plastic & Cast Iron)
· Copper press, sweat copper & PEX piping systems
· Appliance connections
· Adjustments/component replacement and fixture Installations
· Water Heater replacements
· Any additional knowledge of construction is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
· Good Communication and problem-solving skills
· Journeyman with 5+ years of experience as a plumber is a plus
· Valid license in MN for journeyman would be a plus
· Must have a Valid driver’s license to work out of a company vehicle.
· Service plumber skills would help, if interested for plumbing systems for annual maintenance items, such as winterizing components and bringing them back into operation in the spring.
· Hot Water & Boiler skills would be a bonus for our customer base
· Infloor radiant heat, radiators, geothermal systems
