Job Type: Full-time-Hourly
Do you have experience working as a finish carpenter for a design/build remodeling company? This position will utilize your finish carpentry skills to collaborate with other carpenters installing cabinets, trim, doors, windows, and other remodeling related finishing work. You will work with a Project Manager who coordinates the project, orders material, communicates with clients and handles inspections. Castle specializes in kitchens and baths and works primarily in-doors and offers year-round work.
You must have your own tools, a valid drivers license, and dependable transportation. Experience working on old homes is very different from new home builds and we specifically need remodeling carpenters. We build additions, dormers, kitchen, baths, decks, porches and do whole house remodeling. We have a highly skilled team of carpenters and tradesmen, so you will learn from the best.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.
Requirements:
Work with a small team of carpenters to complete trim carpentry.
Comfortable with door and window install, cabinet install, accessory installation and punch list items.
The ability to communicate and work as a part of team is key to this position.
Applicants must be organized and good at planning ahead.
10+ years field experience is a must.
Attention to detail is a must as these details are what set us apart from our competitors.
Communication and customer service skills are integral to long term success.
An understanding of building / remodeling techniques and an appreciation for older homes.
Relevant experience in remodeling older homes is required.
