POSITION SUMMARY:
The main responsibility of the Fleet Technician is to maintain, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Dem-Con’s fleet of trucks and other assets as assigned. Will work with the lead technician to diagnose and repair a variety of diesel trucks and equipment as well as dumpster repair and fabrication projects as assigned.
FUNCTIONS:
Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment and complete preventative maintenance as scheduled/needed.
Diagnose and perform maintenance on Trucks, Trailers, and heavy equipment such as Loaders, Skid Steers and Forklifts.
Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication repair service on Trucks, Trailers, Dumpsters, or other fabrication projects as assigned.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Perform all work safely and in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Possess or willingness to obtain a CDL
Previous experience diagnosing and repairing Class 7-8 trucks and semi-trailers.
Be certified or be able to obtain a certification to complete DOT inspections.
Must be able to lift/move up to 100lbs.
