Construction Job Site Foreman
A foreman is responsible for ensuring that everything goes smoothly at a construction site.
Core Responsibilities:
This position will be onsite managing a team and will be the trusted right hand to the owner of the company
Oversee, schedule and arrange crew work on a daily basis, cooperating with other team members as necessary.
Review all project activities, work equipment and sites every day to make sure everything is performed to company standards as well as to the latest OSHA/AWAIR regulations and standards
Train new crew members whenever they join the team and provide workers with continuing education according to the latest industry requirements in order that all work meets the most current specifications.
Must know how to operate equipment such as a Tellehander man lift and work on rigging, lifting 200-1000 lbs large decks into the air
Experience in metal fabrication a major plus
Requirements:
10 years experience in the remodel, new construction commercial
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have 10 & 20 hour OSHA training
Proven leadership of multiple teams at once
Able to read architect plans and translate the plans to teams
Effective troubleshooting & communication skills
Understanding of how to delegate tasks
Must be a people person and able to liaison between CEO & clients
Must have reliable transportation
Some travel required
Full-time, pay based on qualifications up to $35 hour + health insurance + 401K.
