Scherer Bros. Closet Division is seeking experienced craftsman to install closet systems in new construction and remodel projects. Typical hours are 6 am -1pm for new construction. 8:30 am - 4pm for residential remodels. All material is delivered to the jobsite.
Must have ability to read closet design plans. Tools required: screw guns and hand tools, miter saw, table saw, jig saw, ladder, something to cut metal rods with, and an air compressor and nailer on occasion. Will be installing crown molding on high end closet systems, and some wire shelving on basic closets. There is a range of systems, depending on the customer/builder. Training provided but must have some carpentry background. Jobs are located all around the metro area. Currently part time work available: 1-2-3 days per week. More days may be added as we continue to grow!
Must be extremely reliable, as we are on a deadline for installing closets before the home closes (new construction)
Must be insured (liability).
