Position: IT Support Technician Location: Anoka, MN (Onsite, 5 days a week)Pay Rate: Up to $25/hrDuration: Ongoing Contract PositionNote: 3rd party or C2C applicants will not be considered.Company: Ledgent Technology is actively seeking a motivated, entry-level IT professional to join our team for an ongoing contract position in Anoka, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 6 months of production experience to expand their IT skill set in a dynamic and hands-on environment.Job Overview: As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple IT projects, including configuring devices, managing inventory, and providing technical support to field technicians. This position offers hands-on experience in areas such as hardware configuration, warehouse operations, and internal IT support. You'll be working closely with our team while gaining new skills and knowledge across a variety of technical tasks.Key Responsibilities:Configure tablets (iPad & Samsung) and image PCs.Provide remote technical support over the phone to 3rd party technicians installing emergency phones and access points.Assist with warehouse tasks including counting inventory, pulling parts, shrink-wrapping pallets, and organizing stock.Configure and troubleshoot VoIP phones.Aid the shipping and receiving department in prepping boxes and checking in returned equipment.Pick orders for shipping and ensure proper packaging of equipment.Support internal IT needs for coworkers.Configure circuit boards using a butt set.Required Skills & Qualifications:Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.Team collaboration: Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.Willingness to learn: Open to learning new technologies and taking on new responsibilities as projects evolve.Excellent communication skills: Both verbal and written communication are crucial for providing effective remote support and collaborating with team members.Preferred but Not Required:Experience with VoIP systems.Previous help desk or technical support experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
