PAY STRUCTURE: $60,000 Base + Commission. (expected year 1 earnings of $90k-$120k)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the industrial woodworking industry for the Twin Cities – Metro Territory. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. The understanding of woodworking products and solutions, mechanical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers and develop strategies to introduce and sell industrial equipment, parts, and tooling.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our products.
- Stay informed about industry trends and products. Continue to learn about our products and educate customers on equipment, methods, standards, and tooling.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics as set by the company.
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory, including regular travel to customer sites and vendor facilities.
- Travel is required and will be overnight. This territory will require atleast 4+ weeks of overnight travel per year for trainings and trade shows. Additional overnight travel is required as necessary.
- Work as a team with the inside sales team, product specialists, and management to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in the company’s CRM system.
- This is not a work remote position. When not traveling, the sales person is expected to be in the Minnetonka office.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the industrial equipment industry, woodworking industry, or related field.
- Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, tools, and materials.
- Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year on target earnings once established.
