The reality of B2B Business Development / Appointment Setter position:

You will be cold calling people that you have never spoken with before. They don't know you, they don't know us and they will almost always be in the middle of doing something important. You will be interrupting their day.

You will be constantly rejected and will find it seemingly impossible to get through the gatekeeper to the decision maker. When you do get through to the decision maker, they will cut the conversation short. You need to qualify the prospect, identify a need for our service, convey that need to them and generate a level of interest and sell them over the phone on setting up a qualified appointment with one of our technicians.

This is a very difficult task and less than 10% of salespeople are a good fit.

1ST REQUIREMENT: 2+ Years experience cold-calling/telemarketing

2ND REQUIREMENT: Strong ability to handle rejection (you'll get a lot of it!)

3RD REQUIREMENT: Happy “Bubbly” and professional demeanor while cold calling prospects

The duties of this position:

We need someone who can prospect, cold call (tele-market) and set the appointment!

You will be rejected a lot.

You must be a motivated, growth-driven, energetic, independent, hard-charging rhino of a person!

You call and close - set the appointments!

Your position responsibilities:

1. Outbound cold calling to new businesses

2. Prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities with decision makers using phone and e-mail

3. Generate interest and demonstrate value of our products with decision makers in these businesses

4. Performance of position recommended hours are from 8AM - 4PM

5. Demonstrate the ability to achieve and outperform your set goals

Ideal candidates will have these traits:

1. You're not afraid to pick up the phone and start calling people!

2. You're are always up for a challenge!

3. Rejection doesn't bother you because you know you're are there to help!

4. You work very well on your own (productive/independent) and require very little oversight.

5. You're outcome-oriented and results-focused with a history of aggressive performance

6. Excellent communicator with strong relationship skills and a competitive attitude

You will be setting B2B appointments for our business services outsourcing company.

Your job is to locate interest in our services and set the appointment with the decision maker.
