General Pattern Co. is seeking to fill roles within our Quality Control Team with candidates who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Full-time, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Starting wage is $20 + per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Maintain quality files on each product produced and be able to perform first-article inspections
Work with Department Leads and Quality personnel to ensure all customer requirements are met or exceeded
Perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections on all painted projects throughout the day
Pay attention to quality details in parts and report discrepancies
Communicate in a professional manner any quality concerns to all personnel
Escalate quality concerns to Quality Technical Lead
Update quality files, certifications, and documents as required
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints or control drawings and be able to use various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc., to make and record critical measurements.
Package correct product certificates with products for shipment
Assist with Secondary Operations as needed
Excellent Attendance Practices
Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
Basic computer knowledge/experience such as Microsoft Office
Organized & Neat
Able to lift 15 - 20 lb. regularly
Able to stand, sit, walk, stoop and bend
Able to use hands and fingers to reach and grasp
Must have reliable transportation
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Experience in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
