Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Eagan, MN
Reports to: Operations Manager or General Manager
Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (flexible)
Pay: $60,000-$70,000/year
Car Needed: Yes
Errands: UPS, Home Depot, Bank (deposit checks)
Overview: We are seeking a proactive, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, manage inventory, and coordinate equipment logistics for tradeshow and event setups. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solution-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Supervision
o Oversee daily warehouse functions: receiving, storage, shipping.
o Assign tasks and supervise warehouse staff.
o Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse.
o Handle light maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulbs, toilet fixes).
o Manage snow/ice/rain tasks as needed.
o Replenish job boxes and stock supplies.
o Ensure trash protocols are followed.
o Use forklift (experience preferred) and manage truck/equipment.
Inventory Management
o Track and maintain accurate inventory with routine cycle counts.
o Use FLEX Rental Solutions to manage gear.
o Catalog new gear and integrate into warehouse.
o Maintain case kit accuracy per content builder.
o Perform light LED repair and gear prep with techs.
Staff Management & Training
o Train, mentor, and lead warehouse staff.
o Conduct team meetings and performance reviews.
o Support warehouse team in test setups and storage organization.
Logistics & Coordination
o Prep and pack rolling cases for trade shows.
o Receive returns, clean/test gear, and restock.
o Coordinate full order cycle and schedule couriers.
o Track all shipments and take gear photos.
o Monitor storage containers for incomplete case kits.
o Work with project managers to pull sheets and ship manifests.
Communication & Reporting
o Notify project managers of gear status (missing, damaged, OOC).
o Recap emails to MN operations manager with outbound/inbound info.
o Communicate with landlord and maintenance providers.
Safety & Compliance
o Maintain OSHA and internal safety standards.
o Enforce PPE use and correct unsafe conditions promptly.
Documentation & Systems
o Update master tracker with ship/return dates and gear status.
o Run FLEX reports: scan-ins/outs, manifests.
o Implement new warehouse systems (e.g., job box station, LED area).
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in logistics/supply chain preferred.
-Experience: 3–5 years warehouse experience, 3+ years in a supervisory role.
-AV experience: Not required, but a plus (training provided).
-Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inventory systems (FLEX Rental Solutions a plus).
Skills:
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
-Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
-Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
-Resourceful with hand tools and materials.
Work Conditions:
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
-Comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
-No nights or weekends, some overtime as needed.
-Occasional errands using personal vehicle.
