Lakes Area Manufacturing is a leading precision manufacturing facility and is currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator.
This successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. This role will also include performing periodic inspections while remaining self-motivated and self-sufficient. This role requires basic knowledge of machine operation.
Shift
M-Th 6:00am-4:00pm 4 – 10 hour shifts
Occasional overtime on Friday’s
Responsibilities
Measure parts
Attention to detail
Keep work area clean and organized
Have the ability to multitask and help other team members
Support the company's strategic plan by adhering to quality management.
Makes parts that conform to the drawing specifications.
Meets or exceeds job time standards as much as possible.
Performs secondary operations such as drilling, tapping and deburring.
Completely and accurately fills out job paperwork and inspection reports .
Maintain a positive image for the company
Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
Experience with forklift operation and knowledge of manufacturing materials are advantageous.
Lift at least 25 lbs.
