Job Description:
We are a high-end remodeling company seeking an experienced and highly organized Cabinet Installer and Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work on luxury residential and/or commercial projects. This position requires someone who is comfortable pulling a truck and trailer and who can perform installation and finishing work with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Install high-end cabinetry and woodwork, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Perform finish carpentry, including custom trim, crown molding, wainscoting, and other detailed woodwork.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan installations and custom finishes.
Coordinate with the project manager and team to ensure efficient and timely completion of each project.
Maintain an organized and safe work environment, including keeping tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
Safely pull and maneuver a truck and large trailer, transporting tools, and materials to job sites.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining professionalism on all job sites.
Ensure proper installation and adjustments of cabinets, ensuring all elements fit properly and function smoothly.
Inspect work regularly to identify areas for improvement and address any issues promptly.
Collaborate with other contractors and team members to meet project timelines and goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cabinet installer, finish carpenter, or in a similar role within high-end residential or commercial remodeling.
Ability to safely operate a truck and trailer to transport materials and tools to job sites.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused demeanor.
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with high-end custom cabinetry and complex carpentry details.
Familiarity with a wide range of finish carpentry techniques, including custom cabinetry, moldings, and cabinetry finishes.
Knowledge of modern kitchen and bath design trends.
